There
is no visible progress even after the third round of the meeting of the
European Union (EU) on the question of effective separation (known as
breaksit). After the meeting yesterday, the press conference in Brussels on Thursday highlighted the retrograde remarks, both sides said.
Michel Bernie, chief negotiator of the EU, said there was no decisive progress on important issues. Barney
said that there is a confidence crisis between the two sides, they are
still far away from discussions about future relations. Barney said he had some patience in the UK's behavior, but he was not angry. The EU has a disagreement about the rights of citizens and financial debt.
However, David Davies, the chief negotiator for the UK, said that there was some obvious progress in the negotiations. He
urged the EU to be somewhat flexible, through which they will be able
to reach an agreement that protects the interests of both parties.
